Welcome book blank

All my Corel welcome books open with the normal information.
Now all of a sudden one, just VideoStudio, does not. The Welcome book shows as if offline even though the I am connected to the internet
The options "What's New, Tutorials, Gallery and Get More" are gone.

I have searched, cleaned cashes, using Firefox, but also use Chrome & Edge. All are up to date.
I cannot figure out why just this one program suddenly stopped showing the information. Info I like having.

I have just installed 2018 and like you the welcome screen showed as white
However re-booting the program seemed to have fixed that.

Are you still having the same problem.
Try resetting the program by renaming the folder 21.0 to “21.0_old”
A new 21.0 folder will be created when running VS.

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\21.0

Thanks for the help. Still showing a blank welcome screen.
Just one of those things that drives me crazy since I did use the welcome screen.
I'll keep searching.

I just upgraded and was seeing a blank welcome book.
Don't particularly use the welcome but it's one of those things that just annoys me if it isn't working properly!

Anyway, here's how I made it work for me ....

1. Right Click the VideoStudio launcher icon(or program) and select "Run as Administrator" ... let it start, the welcome book is ok.
2. Close the program.

Now when I run normally (not as Administrator), the welcome book works as expected.
