Hello,
First I want to apologize for my bad english and hope that you'll understand my request.
I use Photoshop Elements 13 for quite a while now for fun, and recently I had the opportunuty to buy Corel PSP 2018 Ultimate at a good price. So I'm totally newbie with PSP 2018.
I can't find if there is an equivalent to the PSE 13's option "New fill or adjustement layer - Solid color" in PSP 2018.
I want to fill with color selections in a black and white lineart, i.e the face from a character or the arms, etc..
In PS Elements 13, I do a selection from the face, choose the New fill or adjustement kayer - Solid Color in the menu and then I'm able to fill the selection in the layer with a solid color. It creates a new layer so I can work on a new layer and after picking a foreground color, I can adjust it (multiply, color, etc..)
I haven't found the same option in PSP 2018, is there a similar option ?
(this page shows what I mean : http://www.informit.com/articles/articl ... 1&seqNum=3 ).
TIA for your answer.

Hello and welcome to the forum By the way your English is just fine.
First, make sure you are in the Edit tab of the Complete workspace. This will allow you to add layers. You can add layers via the Layers menu along the top of the program or by the icon on the bottom of the layers palette pictured below.
If you still have questions, please feel free to ask.

PSP does not have an equivalent option. With PSP you need to make a new blank layer, then use the fill tool to fill in the selected area on the new layer. It is possible to create a script that would simplify this down to a single button press, but otherwise, it's all very manual.

Make your selection then use the pull down menu SELECTIONS and choose <Promote Selection to layer>. This will get you started doing what you're already familiar with. You will also want to have the Layers & Materials Palettes open.
