I have a video recorded on an IPhone that imports into Video Studio X9 with sound only on a white screen. The video plays though there is no Image. My goal is to edit it.
Any recommendations?

Welcome to the forum!
Do you have the Quicktime .mov codec on your computer? You will need it to be able to edit a mov clip properly. Concern has been expressed by Apple (which develops) about some security weakness in Quicktime in PCs, though this apparently relates to the QT player not the codec. To install just the codec, see viewtopic.php?p=356444#p356444 for instructions.

Re: Video Studio X9 - MOV imports with sound but no Image
Can you please right click on the problem clip in either the VS timeline or the VS library window, and copy ALL its Properties here -- or take a screen shot of the Properties box and upload it here as an attachment.
One other possibility is that your iPhone uses a variable frame rate -- probably less than the standard frame rate of 29.97 frames per second. VS has difficulty with those and sometimes even refuses to allow them to be inserted in the timeline. Our advice in such cases is to use a freeware video converter like Handbrake and convert it to similar properties but with a constant framerate of 29.97 fps (often shown as 30 fps).
You could also upload a small part of the problem video to a website like Dropbox so that we can have a look to see how it reacts on our systems.

I converted to MP4 with 30 fps and loaded into VSx9.
Problem solved.
Thx for your guidance
