In the main forum user Linda Lou was asking about ways to change the size of the grid cells. Obviously View>Grid, guide and snap properties is built in. But when PSP was Jasc software, Jasc created 2 scripts (PSP8 I believe), one of which lets you set the number of cells of the grid across and down (you can use different numbers for each), the other which allows you to set the number of cells across and down as a percentage of your image (you can use different percentages for each). So if you are doing a layout, for example, and you know how many cells you need across and/or down. then with GridbyCells you don't have to calculate how many pixels (or inches) you need to set for the grid properties using the built-in Grid Properties tool but can simply input the number of cells you want across and/or down your image regardless of the images pixel/inch size.
I don't know if those scripts come with Corel versions of PSP, and when I searched this sub-forum I couldn't find them here, so I am posting them here in case they aren't available with newer versions of PSP. I find them easier/more convenient to use than the Grid Properties dialogue and, in fact, have bound them to icons and placed them under the Grid option in the View menu. If most people already have them I guess it can't hurt to have them here anyway.
They can go in Scripts Restricted folders, but will also work in Trusted folders.
