I have video of a puppet and want to make their face look fatter. I am assuming the way to do it is to create a mask of the face and stretching it so it overlays on the original face. I think I can do it this way but it looks very painstaking as the track motion didn't work great so I will have to edit every frame. I was just wondering if there was an easier way of doing it.
Also when I create the mask is there a way of cropping it in the overlay window so I have just the mask and not the whole frame ?

Re: How to make someone look fatter
thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. It looked weird plus the face was expanding with the effect instead of a static fat face

On the frame where you have an OK effect, rt-click the keyframe: the small coloured triangle at the timer marker for that frame. If there isn't one there, position the time market at the spot, and click the + icon - keyframe should be added. Select copy attributes to all (puts the attributes you have set to all keyframes in the clip that has that effect on it). Play it - the effect should be the same all thru

Re: How to make someone look fatter
I tried and and didn't get very far plus the punch effect seems to make the head bigger, not just wider which is what I need.
However going back to the original method I think will work imply stretching the mask that also has a couple of problems.
When I create a mask I ended with the mask plus a lot of black to fill the rest of the frame. Can I crop it so there is just the mask.
If I stretch the mask it is only on the first frame of the clip. how to I copy that to all the frames of that clip ?
Thanks for your help
