Painter essentials 6 vs Painter Pro 2018 Ultimate?

Can anyone tell me what might be in Painter Essentials 6 that wouldn’t be in Painter Pro 2018 Ultimate (That I have) that would make it worth my while to purchase Painter Essential s?
I tried call support got someone that kept asking if I wanted to but it. All she kept telling me that Painter Pro 2018 Ultimate was only for photo editing not painting.
So I’m coming here to see if I could get some information because if Ultimate has everything and more than Painter Essentials I see no reason to duplicate what I already have purchased.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It appears you've landed in the Paint Shop Pro forum but your question concerns Painter Essentials and you mention Painter Pro 2018 Ultimate. Are you really talking about Painter or do you mean Paint Shop Pro. If so, you're comparing apples to oranges.

If not and you do mean Painter you may have better luck in the Painter forum.

Painter Essentials is just that - some essential painting tools. Painter Pro 2018 is not only lots more expensive but also has a lot more capability to go with it. If you also have Paintshop Pro 2018 you'll see that it has a Complete workspace and an Essentials workspace, with the latter having much fewer capabilities than the former.

Essentials is never the most capable version of a product.
