Something that clearly does not follow every other Windows application I have used and its been lots ...
In PSP, you start by opening a saved version of the project. You then make changes but during that time you have NOT saved those changes. You want to return to the start of the session when you first opened the project. While there other methods to back out (F3), etc, as times, I prefer the "no brainer" method to click File Open and select the project. PSP does NOT present the "saved" project. In fact, NOTHING has changed. I must either File, Close then Open or of course close PSP then reload the project.
Can anyone tell me the logic for such a design? What I would expect, what we all see in every other program - if you've changed something since last save and you attempt to open same or other project, a warning dialog pops up to asking if you'd like to SAVE, or cancel.
I am able to live with it but it's totally non-standard. It's like a design be someone who had never touched a computer program before being hired/tasked with the "SAVE" module design on this one???
Just curious - as I can live with anything and very much like PSPu as I do PSu - both Corel products.
File, Open same project does not open LAST Saved version?

in PSP you can go to Edit -> Revert.
This is different from Restore Original. Revert simply throws away all of your changes and reloads the image.

Re: File, Open same project does not open LAST Saved version
Levi,
Edit, Revert - Yet another option I hadn't noticed/encountered. Still, File, Open "Status line says "Open an existing document" I guess if I had selected a different project during File Open, I'd be prompted to Save this one if I had changed it since last save but still believe it should prompt to Save and act like all other Windows programs we've ever touched. Again, your pointing me to "Revert" does serve the my desired action.
Thanks much ... again ... and again ... and ...
Ira
PS: At times I open the PDF manual to search for answers and of course use the Learning Center on right side of screen and watch all the video tutorials offered.
