PSP 2018 x64 freezes on exit every time

I have been using (and like) PSP2018 x32 and it works fine. I started to use the x64 version and it also works fine. I can use all features, save files, etc. however it freezes on exit every single time. I have to use Task Manager to end the program. x32 does not do this. I have an HP 610f TouchSmart All-in-One running Windows 10 with 8GB RAM (the max supported on this older but otherwise great beast). I have not had this issue with any other 32 or 64 bit application. The one thing that might be in play is I am a Windows Insider getting frequent updates on the latest version. Having said that and as I said before no other apps seem to have trouble with it. I don't think that's the issue because I kept PSP X9 x64 and it runs and exits just fine. Any ideas?

BTW, I completely uninstalled PSP 2018 and reinstalled it and issue is no longer occurring BUT the UI has changed from the initial install even though I used the same install files. I now only have the Edit tab. See the attachment.

I had several 3rd party packages installed on the original installation (as part of the Ultimate package) and have not yet re-installed those so is it possible one of the Ultimate packages was causing the freeze during exit?

I don't know why the same installation files gave you a different UI. But the UI in the photo you attached is the Essentials workspace. If you want the Complete workspace, right click virtually anywhere on the screen. A menu will appear and at the bottom is "Workspace". If you click on that you will be able to toggle between Essential and Complete.

Thanks very much Ken, your suggestion worked!. I had never used the essentials workspace before so I did not recognize it.
