How to capture screen AND webcam simultaneously?
I'm testing VideoStudio Ultimate 2018, and about to buy it. But I need to know how to capture the computer screen AND webcam at the same time. I see a CAPTURE VIDEO and a LIVE SCREEN CAPTURE functions, but they seem not to work togheter. In the GET MORE section there is a MULTICAM plugin (or application, I'm not sure) that says: ""CONNECT YOUR CAMERAS AND RECORD YOUR SCREEN, WEBCAM AND EXTERNAL CAMERAS IN A SINGLE CLICK". It seems to be exactly what I want, but I need to be sure. Can anyone confirm that MULTICAM can capture the computer screen AND a webcam at the same time?

Hi
and welcome to the forums
there was a similar post here regarding connections of multiple devices
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63739
Although available with X10 I do not know of anyone on the forums having purchased the Multi Cam Capture.
The video tutorial refers to Pinnacle, but as far as I know should work with Video Studio.
It does indicate connecting multiple devices, I assume to separate USB.
They do offer a 30 day money back guarantee, I guess that would be one way to go.
Sorry I cannot help further, you should contact Corel Support, maybe their chat lines.

Re: How to capture screen AND webcam simultaneously?
Thanks! I bought Multicam Capture, but it is not installing for some reason. I received an exe file 148mb, but when I run it, nothing happen. It is not appearing in Corel VideoStudio, and also does not appear in Windows. I opened a ticket in Corel Support, and I'm waiting the answer. It is very strange.lata wrote:Hi

That looks like a Pinnacle product. It might not work with Corel VideoStudio, they are different software packages.

Re: How to capture screen AND webcam simultaneously?
If MultiCam has been purchased via the Get More tab of VS-2018, then it should work, the only stipulation by Corel is that VS must be installed

Re: How to capture screen AND webcam simultaneously?
Thanks! I received an answer from Corel today. They guided me to use the function RESTAURE PURCHASES, in the HELP menu. I did it, but for some reason Multicam Capture still does not work. I'm waiting a new email from Corel to solve the problem.lata wrote:Hi

Re: How to capture screen AND webcam simultaneously?
Hi
You mentioned purchasing through CVSX10, do you still have X10 installed?
Did the MultiCam capture actually work when using X10?
If you have uninstalled X10 I would suggest you re-install the program, first uninstall 2018
Then install X10, allow the program to update to the latest version. (X10.5.0.60)
Does Multi Cam Capture now install?
