In this video, I have a main video track which is just standard, nothing to be done to it. But I have 2 other video tracks that fade in and out as the video goes on. After some trial and error, I edited the 2 other tracks so they are round, but the videostudio software sees them as square, basically circles of video with black around them. Is there any way to get rid of the black? I want the videos to be circles. I tried on Videostudio x09, which I bought years ago, and then on a friends computer with Videostudio x10. I then bought Videostudio 2018 thinking it would work how I needed (after some research) but I can't get it to work.
I just want the overlay videos to fade in and out and be circles with no black borders. I can't find a color to make the borders where they are transparent, and I have tried having them go through OBS with a filter to make them round but Videostudio still makes them square (well, rectangular really).
I have been trying to do this for 2 days. Can anyone help???
Thanks in advance!

Hi
And welcome to the forums
What did you apply to make the frames circular?
The black border is that a very thin hair line border or something more substantial?
You may have to apply another mask or a different option to fix this, just need to get the brain working.
A screenshot of the problem would be useful
Or create a test project using the library samples, zip and attach vsp to your post.

Try using the mask creator X10 or 2018 to create a circle / oval
Otherwise use Chroma Key, you can create your own mask Black and White BMP to add to Chroma. Mask Frames presets
