Pictureshow 4.0 fails at 71%

I also have asked technical support for 'support'. As yet no one has seen fit to bother to answer. After completely stripping out all traces of Ulead products and editing out all references to ulead in the registry and reinstalling Pictureshow 3 I now have what I had before I paid for the upgrade. If nothing intelligent comes back within the next 24 hours I also will request a recharge through my credit card. I note the 2log the moderator of this forum is keeping his head down - despite answering another thread.

I agree, Pictureshow 4 fails just before the burn and the files are left so that you could burn them to CD/DVD - however, I didn't buy the upgrade to struggle.

I have this problem aswell. Wish Tech Support will let us know what is the problem. It has to be software related. Cause it seems to be a common problem. I will keep checking here often to see if there has been any update on this problem. I will just be using dps3 for now until dps4 is resolved.

fix

Post by bryave »

The 71% burning issue has been fixed already. I have mine up and running. Try contacting Ulead's tech support, I think they'll give some kind of an attachment and renaming it to .dll and paste into some directory. It really works, try it! ^_^

Help!

Post by pfriederichs »

Could someone please EMail me the attachment -- i'm in the same boat as the guy from the other thread -- I'm currently evaluating the demo so I dont have access to direct support.

I would highly appreciate it if someone could Email me the .DLL -- pfriederichs@gmail.com

I've been looking at this and ProShow Gold and my wife uses it alot so this looks like a better solution than ProShow (more simple interface).

Anyhow thanks! -- Paul

I have the same problem only at 46% - I've tried installing on my laptop and recording an ISO image which works fine but my Athlon based system won't even do that, nor will it create DVD folders. I've seen the comm patch mentioned on other posts plus the new LXDVDParser.dll - are they one and the same or can anyone let me have a copy of both please? cos Ulead seem to have gone on their annual break. :(

hi,

Heres what I did with this software which crashes all the time. I performed a clean uninstall then reinstall it and installed also the patch from their tech support and right now my program is working just fine. I suggest you to contact their tech support and ask for the patch LXDVDParser.dl-. good luck folks. :D

ciao

I'm really not very technical, I'm trying to help a friend who has bought this program. She says it always fails at 71%. I don't really know what a patch is or what to do with it, but I I told her that I would try to help her. Can someone please send me some help at bubbalouie123754@myway.com ASAP?

much obliged
