What image size should I use for flatscreen

Post by delboy007 »

I don't understand about aspect ratio and resolutions etc

Someone is creating illustrations for me to use in a video. The size they are giving me are 3502 x 2480. When I drop them in the videostudio timeline there is are wide black lines each side of the image. If I render and play the video and then play it fullscreen those black lines are there which looks ugly. What size should the image be so it will fill the screen ?

Place your 3508x2480 image in the timeline, highlight clip and select Options, under Photo heading, click on the dropdown box for Resampling Options and select "Keep aspect ratio (no letterbox) you can also try "Fit to project size" and see which option is best for you
