I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before, I did search and found almost nothing.
Is it possible to add/import GPS/GPX data to VSP 10 or 2018?
I have a Garmin Virb (and virb edit which is shockingly bad for compression artifacts) and a new Hero 6. Both have GPS logging and show a plethora of overlays, things like speed, elevation, track data, time and a hell of a lot more besides. The problem is that both editors are basic, and the Gopro quik only renders upto 1 minute at a time.... making both pretty useless really.
However Virb edit does export png files for use as an overlay to another editor, but a 60 minute long video, 30fps x 60 x 60 is a lot of files to import and align.
TIA.

Re: GPS and GPX
Taking a quick look, it appears that the GPS data for the GoPro is stored in a separate file. I would suggest that VS 2018 doesn't currently support this camera specific feature.
Perhaps there is a way to take just the VS data within Quik and export a suitable video showing that alone in a video it could render?
The same may be required for the Garmin.
