Adding a foreground feature e.g. lake / swans

Post by bdfoto »

Hi

I have seen on Photoshop a simple add-on that extends an image vertically downwards and adds a lake with swans on it to a bridal landscape image.

Is there anything similar available on PSP please? I have PSP 2018 but still prefer PSP X8.

Thanks in advance

Can you give a link to show that being done or where that has been done so we can clearly see what you are wanting. Almost sounds like using a photo frame.

I saw it some time ago. It's like merging two pictures and presumably just as easily be done with any subject.

On that page there are a number of different effects many if not all able to be done in Paintshop pro Edit mode. Some may even ve easier with some plugins of which there are many and others may be able to mentions some of those.

File > Photo Blend

This shows a quick sample of what can be done with photomerge where the images were shot from a tripod with the model moving to different positions.

The Object Extractor can be useful in separating out images from their backgrounds and also be tidied up using the background eraser.

For this one imagine that the penguin is your bride and groom

This one shows how to make a reflection (your bride and groom reflected in water.

As an example I took these images

and using Object Extractor, Effects > Distortion Effects > Ripple , I created this composite simulating your bride, groom, swan etc.

Hi

Having watched the pumpkin video two or three times I'm totally baffled, (not helped by the lack of full screen), but I'm persisting. I'll get there and will report progress in a couple of days. I'm pretty well out of contact for 24 hours now.

To change your profile, have a look at the image I have posted below. First click on the User Control Panel which has the red arrow pointing at it. Then when the new screen opens, click on the Profile tab and then go to Edit Profile where the green arrow is pointing. Don't forget to Save when you have made your changes.

If you hover your cursor near the bottom right of the video you will see what looks like 4 corner brackets, click on that to go full screen.
