Hi
If you are receiving that message from Share after pressing Start then the File location no longer exists.
Please choose a new save location.
For further info please read this post
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56721&p=319553#p319553
By the way the message / image showing on the post has been updated by Corel for 2018, as your image.
The default Working folder location will be here.
C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\21.0\

Thank you lata for your quick answer
I do not show this path at all .
I see C:\Users\User Name\Documents\
Under that path there is no Corel no Corel Video Pro nor 21.0 folder but I see Cyberlink (Yes I use Power DVD 17) how come Cyberlink can properly be 'placed' after documents but not Corel.
Please note that I re-installed vs2018 this morning ,after using the VS2018 clean-up tool.
any other idea

I have also just reinstalled VS 2018, and definitely have the audio folder located in C:\User\UserName\Documents\CorelVidioStudio Pro\21.0

C:\Users\User\DocumentsVoiceOver (EMPTY FOLDER)
C:\Users\User\DocumentsVSPPathStyle (EMPTY FOLDER)
C:\Users\User\DocumentsVSPTemplate (EMPTY FOLDER)
Probably new structure with Windows 10.....and new set-up for Corel VS2018

The Voice Over folder will be empty until such time as you create something
my VSPTemplate folder contains 26 items
Don't have a folder called VSPPathStyle in that location

VSPPathStyle folder is created after saving your first path

Snowstorm
When installing Video Studio did you install to the default location on your C:Drive or did you choose another location?
When you choose Share – what shows in the File Location ( just above the Start button)
and
If you view Preferences (F6) – General tab
What location shows for the Working Folders?

Re: Preferences
thank you again lata and Robert
Here some clarification
I first downloaded the VideoStudio 2018 Installer exe file.
It was then suggested to me to download at the following location=C:\Users\user\Desktop\Video Studio 2018 and install at the following location=C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelVideoStudio 2018
I did not changed the download nor the install locations.
Under preferences general tab Working Folder was originally C:\Users\user\Desktop\VideoStudio2018 ;I was then getting message showed per my attached image in my original message
I changed the path for the Working Folder as follows= C:\Users\user\DocumentsVSPPathStyle (yet I am not sure if this is the right path for VSP Projects)but the warning message disappeared...
Now under Share -File Location I see the following path C:\Users\user\DocumentsVSPPathStyle I will eventually change this path to the D: drive
I still see the message showed per my attached image in my original message when I tick File Creation and the Performance Optimization hardware acceleration (Under Preferences,Performance tab)
I escalated the performance issue to Corel....
Thanks for your helpful suggestion

Re: Preferences
Thanks Snowstorm for the update
Very strange that you are seeing these anomalies
Yes change the working folder to a folder on your D:Drive, no problems in doing that.
Very odd that it first used the desktop.
Can you try by resetting the program by re-naming the 21.0 folder.
Yes I realise you may have done this in the past.
This is the location of my folder
C:\Users\Trevor\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\21.0
More info on resetting can be found here.
http://lata.me.uk/corel/reset/reset.htm
If that does not fix things then I think you should do a Re-Install, using the Cleanup tool to remove the program.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=59847
You may need someone to have a look at your pc and VS program to see what is going on, I assume Corel Support will do that?
Otherwise I am willing to have a look, but you would have to install Team Viewer so I can access your pc. Cannot promise any fixes, but willing to try?
If you wish that send me a Private Message
post updated
I suspect that if this folder is missing C:\Users\Trevor\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\21.0\
Then you will get warnings from Share and the performance tab as Smart Proxy also defaults to that location, at least for me it does.

Re: Preferences
Thanks lata for your offer .
It is a great idea ; I will wait couple of days for Corel...I will let you know after
So far the great help I got from Corel is the link for the clean-up tool (which is yours) and the link for the VideoStudio 2018 Installer exe file
I called Corel this morning but nobody was able to help..
Awaiting for e-mail from support...
I did re named the folder(21.0) but no luck....I also used the clean-up tool (that was actually the 3rd time) and re-install and no, the missing folder C:\Users\user\Documents\CorelVideoStudioPro\21.0\ still not showing.
When I download and install I used the serial number that was given to me when I purchased VS2018 at that time my old PC was 32bits
Would that make a difference …..
The installer exe has a file version of 1.0.0.10 and product version of 21.0.0.1 size 10.6mb
When I download I see the message that my 64bits system is detected.....
Sorry just trying to understand...
thanks

Re: Preferences
Hi
The web installer aka stub is approximately 10 Mb in size
There are several versions. Or rather the same file having different names, can be confusing.
I have....
VideoStudio_Install.exe at 10.954 Kb
VS2018_Online.exe same size at 10.954kb
If you use the VS2018_Online version to download to a new empty folder a new stub called VideoStudio_Install.exe will be created, as you note with a file version of 1.0.0.10 the file size being relevent.
It does not really matter which you use, if the installer takes your serial number then there is no problem.
If you are using files that were downloaded on a 32 bit pc and now installing on a 64 bit then it may be best to download again.
Sorry but uninstall the program again using the Cleanup tool, then delete the 21.0 folder as the cleanup does not remove that.
Downloading.
You can start by downloading the main program + service pack
Create a new empty folder anywhere on your pc, copy the Web installer to that folder.
Run that web installer.
Select the new folder as your Download Location.
Deselect all but the Main Program, now Download only,
This will download the \64bit\Ultimate folder
If you wish you can now compare the new Ultimate folder with your exiting folder, should be the same size.?
Installation.
Now run the web installer again – make sure you have the correct Download Location folder, deselect the packs except for Main to install only the main program, no bells or whistles.
Run the program to see if things have improved
If ok
Run the web installer again and download and Install the remaining packs.
