Post by jezzer »

I have a video with no sound so i would like to add one of my own music sounds but the song i have is to short for the video clip, Can i add it in the auto music section so it adjusts the length or do i have to make it fit myself?

No, you have to make it fit yourself. Most likely you will need to loop it or something similar. You can use a third party audio editor like the freeware Audacity.

After adding music, if it's too short just copy & paste the auto-music audio track....

If that makes it too long then just either trim the excess off the end or you can simply overlap the copied audio tracks and it will automatically cross-fade between the overlap. But, you usually need to manually tweak the crossfade levels from the audio pane as sometimes the automatic crossfade can be really harsh depending on the type of music... If the music has a beat to it, then you'll need to slide the clip overlap until the beats match up by manually nudging the audio clip forward or backward tick by tick on the timeline until it's seamless...

At least that's what I do when I add my own audio & it needs to be fit for the project...
