re-installation VS 2018 Ultimate

I today re-downloaded and installed VS 2018 Ultimate 64 bits.

For me all files have been downloaded ,yet I do not VS2018 on my desktop....

Any idea as to what I have done wrong...

Have you looked at the Recently Added files in Windows 10: press the Windows button in the extreme bottom left of screen. On the screen which appears, in the top left should be three smallish icons. Click the bottom one and it will bring up all your installed apps. At the very top is Recently Added. If VS is there, then right click to Pin to Start.

You can also go into File Explorer and navigated to VS in Program Files: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2018. Navigate to vstudio.exe. Right click it. Choose Create Shortcut. You will probably receive a msg saying it couldn't be created in that folder, but would you like it on the desktop instead. Say OK.
