Photo "jerks" when using adjustments

Hi,

I'm not an AfterShot user (yet), but I did download and try the non-pro version of AS that comes with PSP Ultimate. I was not impressed, and in-installed it. But I keep wanting something to take the place of Lightroom (after ditching the Adobe software rental program), so I'm tempted to try the pro version of AfterShot. Besides the non-pro version not having enough adjustment features to make it worthwhile, what caused me to uninstall it was the way the image would pause, jerk (move) and pixilate for 3 or 4 seconds before an adjustment took effect. Besides being incredibly annoying, it's almost impossible to adjust an image when you can't see the adjustment take effect smoothly and instantaneously. Does anyone else experience that issue? Does the Pro version behave better? AfterShot could really fill a need for me if it worked properly! BTW, my computer is almost new and fully powered, running Windows 10.

here the same the image pixilate a long time before an adjustment shows the effect.
it sucks.

Sometimes Aftershot3 just stops when i working on it its a pain in the ***.
I also have this with Paintshop pro 2018 its a pain in the ***.

I have Windows 10/64 bit
