Resizing Menu - Is This Possible?

Post by oka »

VS9
I have searched the users board but can't find an answer.
After creating menus for VCD or DVD, the menus seem to be too small (just a cosmetic issue).
Is it possible to resize the size of the menu if I have only two or so menus?
The givien menus gets too small compared to the size of the screen (PC or TV).
In other words, can I make the size of the menus larger than given in the template?
Thanks

Not with VS9. You will need MovieFactory or DVD Workshop for that.

I am not sure I fully understand your question. When I create menus in VS 7/8/9, they fill the entire screen when burned to DVD (or VCD/SVCD) and viewed on TV or full screen on my computer viewers. How exactly do you mean that your menus 'get too small compared to the size of the screen'??? Do you mean the little frames for each clip or chapter? Or do you really mean the whole menu?

The "Little" Charpter Frames

Post by oka »

Ken, I mean the "Little" frames for the clips or charpters. If I have only two or four charpter clips to show on my screen, I would at least want to use a fairly sizable clips to see the viewed images (video preview) enough.
Any suggestions? Thanks

I could generate you a UFO file from DMF4 if you specify how you'd like it.
Then if you copy that into your favorite folder you could just use it like any other template. You can then in VS9 change buttons frame and navigation items with Customize but not position, size and numbers of buttons. If you try "layout" it will revert to standard sizes.
Attention all main menu pages share the same numbers and position of buttons!
