Audio not fading completely on FadeOut

I am fading out my track but when I try to drag down the little square to fade out completely it takes me to -36 and won't let me go any lower. Unfortunately the sound can still be heard and it just cutsoff at the end of my video clip. Is there a way to lower the volume on a fadeout all the way to 0% or complete silence?

This is a known issue with VS.

Although not ideal, you could use the 'Split Audio' feature and simply truncate the audio clip where you want the sound to go to 0.
