what is the maximum # of images PSP X6 can handle?

I have maybe 25,000 images I want to tag. Can PSP X6 handle this ? (Images are stored on a 743 gigabyte partition with 420 Gb free.)

Yes. Tags are stored inside each image and the "management" is done by PSP via its database.

Many thanks Jean-Luc. Am very pleased to hear that PSP X6 can handle large numbers of images so I don't have to move to another photo management app if my image library grows too big.

I am very curious about the PSP X6 architecture. Surprised that tags are stored inside images instead of in strings inside the database like

Tags are written inside the JPG (Tags is "Balises" in French on my screen capture):

If you examine your image in another software, you will see the tag(s). It explains why you may see your PSP tags in another software without the need to open PSP.
The database doesn't store the images. The database stores the tags and the names and locations of the images for each tag.
