Adding blinks on screen

Post by okyou »

Hello,

I tried to create a video of a map that a certain point, a blink would pop up at a city in the map and then at another point a blink would pop up at another city. What would be the best way to go about adding these blinks in the overlaying clip ? Is there blink clip ready to be download ?

Appreciate for any input or idea you might have.

Look in the Graphic library (square with flower overlay icon above the FX library). Grab a PNG graphic, drop on the Overlay1 track, resize using the grab handles, edit the opacity using Customize Motion, add fades if desired, etc.

You can also make your own PNG image in a graphics program just keep the background transparent

Another idea is to drop a transparent PNG on the Overlay1 track then drop an FX on it such as the Diffraction FX. Edit the FX by sizing the frame using the grab points or use Customize Motion, then edit the diffraction radius, length, branches, opacity, whatever you want.
