Videostudio 2018 ultimate, all files in project modified

Post by Blablabla »

Goodday lovely people,

I've been using corel ultimate for a few weeks now and have been mostly more than satisfied but it's happened to me twice now where i will have worked on a project, saved it, and then when i open it, the order of files in the project are the same, but the files themselves have been modified.

To be more precise, i will have ordered clips to a piece of music...and the moments in the music where the video files change are still the same. And the source of the clips is still the same, but the moment from the source has changed. So when it used to be, Source 1, 40 to 50 secs, it's now, Source 1 1:43 to 1:53 for example. And the same for every file/source in the project.

I have no idea how this can happen but it's the 2nd project i've had it with and it's quite annoying as it effectively destroyed my work.

Does anyone know what could be happening and/or how this can be prevented/fixed?

Thanks a lot for the help!

Have you changed VS settings from NTSC <> PAL and loaded right project to the wrong setup?

what do you mean by VS settings? and as far as i'm aware i've changed nothing. Touched nothing from NTSC or PAL (wouldn't know where to find it either)

i find it particularly weird because the locations of the clips on the timeline are the same...just that the content of the clips on the timeline has changed... It's truly bizarre
