Hello everyone.
As you probably know, in Adobe Premiere we have interpret footage option, where we can assume framerate. Is this option available in VS?
I have 100 FPS movie, but I want to have all my movie in 25FPS. When I export it, the motion doesn't look really good.
Do you have any solutions?

Re: Interpret Footage
At 100 fps, video will look very smooth, and slow motion from this will be awesome. However, from 100 fps to 25 fps means no matter how this is done, it will never look as smooth. I would interpret the output as throwing away 3 frames out of every 4 frames and that is a lot of frames to throw away if the video captures fast motion. I have done 60 fps to 30 fps and looks OK as long as the motion captured is not fast. There is a Microsoft product called Hyperlapse that is the best at throwing frames away and keeping the motion as smooth as possible; it takes a long time to run but its output is pretty good even with fast motion.
Why not just keep your output at 100 fps? or perhaps 50 fps? Try it until it gives satisfactory results.

Re: Interpret Footage
Al -- thanks for the tip about Hyperlapse. I had been completely unaware of it. And stunned that it's free!
Just downloaded and installed. Now to find time to play with it and some of my GoPro footage!!
