PSP 2018 Pen Tool Edit Nodes NOT working

When I have created a shape using the Pen Tool with Create on Vector checked shouldn't I be able to go back and edit the nodes at any point? When I leave that layer to work on another and later try to go back to edit the nodes they will not show up, even if I click EDIT mode. Is there a bug or is there something new I am missing???

Yes, if you used create on vector you should be able to edit the nodes. In the Layers palette you will see a layer called Vector1. Click on the down arrow to the left of the name. This will open the sub-layer that contains the object you created. Select that layer and now you should be able to work with the nodes - make sure you select the edit mode icon.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the program - save workspace then restart while pressing shift key.

Unfortunately that is what I have been doing. And this occurs often after PSP had been closed out and reopened. This version of PSP has been very problematic for me.
