PSP X9 Ultimate copy/paste/as new layer shuts me down
I just purchased a new copy of PSP X9 Ultimate; it worked fine until I tried to use the function copy/paste as new layer. Then it closed out psp on me. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the program. Tried the copy/paste as new layer function and it worked that time. Then, the next time I tried to use copy/paste as new layer, it closed down Psp again. I have Windows 10. Help, please

That function works fine here, so I can only think that something is corrupt with your set-up.
Try the Shift key trick to fix it:
If you have changed your Workspace at all, save it first so it's safe.
Then close PSP.
Open it again and hold the Shift key at the same time, hold it down until you get a message that PSP is reverting to it's default settings. Click OK.
Then you will have a 'clean' install.
This has got me and others out of trouble many times

PS: You will need to reset File Locations and other preferences.
