Hi Folks,
Something I've wondered about for a while - a long while...
If I have a small seamless texture - and I want to apply it over a large texture without changing the originals resolution - without manually copy and pasting it a thousand times - is there a way to this with less effort ?
Thanks...
Regards,
Scott

You may use the Fill tool with this texture selected.

Thanks so much for the response - I may need a little more detail ?
I tried making a selection of the texture I want using the selection tool - but it doesn't seem to work as I need to make another selection to paint with it...
If I save my sample to my custom "Texture" directory - I can get it to show in the pallet but it's translucent and wants to be applied with the color also selected...
What I want is a complete opaque tile of the original - with the original color and scale - as if I was copying it - then manually lining it up and pasting it 1000 times - to stitch together a much larger version...
Thanks for your patience...
Regards,
Scott

Re: PSPx9 Automatically Tile a Texture ?
Then you want patterns not textures. Textures in PSP are quite literally meant to simulate drawing or editing on a particular surface like paper, or wood. It makes for interesting effects as you paint. Which is why you get the semi-transparency effect.
Patterns are just images that repeat.
