Transition Volume overlap problems

Post by dmehrenheim »

I am using VideoStudio Ultimate x10. I have placed a transition between two video clips and I want the transition to go to black (I selected fade to black) then pause without sound for 2 seconds. However the next clip audio begins during the fade to black. I tried extending the transition clip to 4 seconds and the audio still begins as the fade is going on. How do I get the next clip audio to start AFTER the fade.

You can't tweak the transition, so you should do it with placing a black color from graphics between your clips, than crossfade to it on both ends.
