I have PaintShop Pro Ultimate 2018 installed on my Windows 7 Professional computer. I have the 32bit version and the 64bit version. The configuration of the computer is, of course, the same for both. When I click the shortcut for the 32bit version it starts right up. When I click the shortcut for the 64bit version nothing happens. I have checked the properties for both and they're both the same. I have tried changing the compatibility settings and clicking "run as administrator". No matter what changes I make the 32bit version runs but not the other. I have the latest updates installed. I don't need the 64bit version necessarily but it's frustrating. I don't really want to uninstall it and start over. Any insight will be appreciated.
Update 3-25-2018 ---- I have several photo and video editors on my computer. They frequently share plug-ins and other files. I don't know what the 64bit version uses that the 32bit version doesn't but I had uninstalled On One Photo Raw prior to PaintShop Pro acting up. I just installed the newest versions of On One Photo Raw and Movie Studio Suite and now PaintShop is back to starting. It's quite likely that during the uninstall something important was deleted. Or it just fixed itself which sometimes also happens.

Instead of clicking the shortcut which may be bad for some reason, try going to the exe file directly to launch the program.
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2018 (64-bit)
If that works, you can delete the bad shortcut and create a new one from the exe file.

Thanks Kathy_9. It miraculously fixed itself and I updated my post. Thank you for responding. (I had tried clicking on the exe file previously. But good thought.)
