Shortcut keys not working

Post by budbon »

Somehow I have lost the ability to use the shortcut keys in my PSP X8, Such as using Ctrl C for copy. None of the shortcuts are working, Either the Ctrl + or Shift +. I must have done something wrong a few days ago. I hope I don't have to reload the whole program.

First save your workspace. File->workspaces->save

Then close PSP.

Reopen PSP while holding SHIFT to reset the workspace to factory defaults. Check to see if the shortcut keys work. Load in your saved workspace.

File->workspaces->load

Check to see if the shortcuts still work

SHIFT fixes; Loading workspace breaks again

Post by mannion »

This just started happening to my PSP X8 instance, as well. Holding SHIFT when opening fixes the problem, but restoring the original workspace breaks the shortcuts again. Here are some screenshots of the Edit menu, for example:
Edit menu without starting with SHIFT, and after restoring workspace

Fortunately, I don't have many customizations, so I can start with SHIFT and reconfigure things the way I like. Just adding this information for future reference. Thanks to LeviFiction for the solution.
