My previously working VS X9 Ultimate (with updates installed) had been launching & running fine, but I had not used the program for about a month.
Tried to start the program yesterday and the VSX9 starting screen comes up like it is launching (including the movement of the Horizontal Dots in the lower right of the splash screen).
However, this goes on for about 3 minutes then the start screen disappears, and returns to my desktop with the program NOT launched.
Tried reinstalling using Control Panel) but it would only allow me to UN-Install 1st. So ultimately I uninstalled keeping my personal settings.
After the very long download and re-install procedure was completed successfully, I tried launching the program again, but encountered the same problem.
At this point the program is unusable to me.
I am wondering if Windows 10 recent updates are causing an incompatibility issue with VSX9?
My system:
Windows 10 64Bit (with recent updates)
Toshiba Laptop P855 with Intel I7
8 Gig Ram
C: Drive Free Space available 271GB
Previously working VS X9 Ultimate Will no longer run

Did your Windows install the March updates from Microsoft? If so, go back to the latest restore point or uninstall the following:
KB4088875 & KB4088878
These are VERY buggy and causing major problems around the world.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, my Win 10 did install updates in March. However I do NOT see either of the files you mention in a search of my Update History or Installed Updates list.
I thought it might be a Windows Update problem, but if that is the case then I don't know why Corel does not advise it's registered users of this, and come up with suggested solutions.
