It depends on what specific 'problems' you are referring to.
I've just spent a few days switching back to an SDD and have been reinstalling X10.5 & 2018, along with various extras. One issue I've had was relating to NB FX which was resolved by me contacting them (too many installations).

If all you are worried about are the NB Art Effects, I assume you received a serial number when you received them. The first time you open them in VS you will most likely be asked to enter the SN, but after that you should be good to go.
I have a whole range of NB effects beyond those that come as part of the VS package, and have never had any trouble with any of them apart from the rather steep learning curve that goes with many of them -- and the significant extension of rendering time which comes from the use of some of them in a project. But neither of these 'problems' are avoidable IMHO.
