Making changes to DVD file without rerendering?
Hi. Using DVD WS2. After rendering to DVD file. Is there a way to make changes without having to rerender the whole thing? For example let's say I render to DVD file. And then afterwards I decide that I want to change the background image that I used for the menu screen. Is there a way to change this without rerendering the whole thing so I don't have to wait another 4+ hours?
If you have the video as a compliant MPEG-2 file and the video and audio check boxes are clear, then you don't have to re-render it.

In addition to what Devil said, if your source files were NOT compliant -- then DWS encoded them for DVD.
Locate the corresponding DWS_TS Folder on your computer -- in there should be a folder that contains the encoded assets (I think the folder name is CvtTitle01, 02, 03, etc...
You can create a new project with those files, and won't have to go through the encoding step again. But it means you might have to re-create your menus.
Make a backup copy of your current project before attempting this...
rename your original source video, then open the backup copy of the project and when it asks to re-link -- point it to the files that are in those CvtTitle folders...
