split clips when placed in the library retain length
when I split a clip and drag it to the library the clip remains the length of the video clip I split it from. In other words, when I split a clip on the timeline, it apparently is only split there but not elsewhere

Well, not here on my VS19.2
I split SPv04 on timeline and dragged the end part to library as can be seen.
