Rename clips and default folder location

Post by HighAndDry »

How do I rename video clips that I have cut from a long video? Example. I recorded a vhs tape (using a different program-haven't figured out how to do that in corel yet) and imported the video into corel video studio ultimate 2018. I then split it at points and dragged the newer, smaller clips into the box ( I don't know what it's called) where you import video etc. How do I rename those clips?
also. the getting started tutorial asks you to make a new folder and then asks you to browse and add video. Ok. I got that. but where does corel store that folder?

To rename any clip in your library or any other section, click once to select the clip, short pause, then click a second time on the bottom of it where the title is. You can then rename it.

Double-clicking any clip quickly will open the "Single Clip Trim" editor window.

Have you looked in Preferences > General for the path of the default working folder (which you can change if you wish)?
