Since yesterday I bought the PSP Ultimate 2018 online.
After install there were 2 programs that run fine: being Aftershot 3 and Paintshop Pro 2018.
So those work absolutely fine.
But there is also Painter Essentials 5 and ParticleShop included, but I get the following error:
Error 38: -Corel Painter Essentials has encountered a problem. Please reinstall from the original source.
Of course, I reinstalled it from the official download source, but the error(s) remains.
What can I do now?

After some search I found it:
Opened services.
- Protexis Licensing was not present on my system.
- But the service "Corel License Validation Service V2 x64, Powered by arvato", was not running.
I've set the startup type to automatic, and it works like a breeze.

I checked and the Protecxis service was nowhere to be seen in the list.
A simple reboot fixed it all.
