I have just installed version 2018.
I still work with X9 and X10.
Is there anyway to move the projects, films, fotos, sounds to the working area of the new version?
I now I can do it manually adding folders with the same name and then add the contents I want or need. (This is what I want to avoid, for the hassel)
Dificult to explain.

Re: New Video Studio 2018
You can export the library from VS X8 or VS X10 and import that to VS 2018.
Under the Settings menu, select 'Library Manager' and then 'Export Library'.
Then, within VS 2018, go to the Library Manager once more and this time select 'Import Library'.
I would suggest that you create a sub-folder for each library. Personally, I use a naming convention such as "X8 2018-03-09 Example Project". This way you can reset the library and import a library layout to work on a specific project.
I also put mine within a main sub-folder located: "C:\Users\username\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\Library" . This makes it easier for me to find them all at a later date.
So a specific library might be in:
C:\Users\user name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\Library\X8 2018-03-09 Example Project
I would also suggest that you ensure that you have any transitions and other purchases you have previously made before you import a library. This will ensure that any are in your favourites if that is where you put them before.

Re: New Video Studio 2018
Could you describe your actions a little bit in more detail please?
I have both VS X10.5 and VS 2018 installed. As is normal with VideoStudio I can only run one at a time, but they both work with their respective libraries.

Re: New Video Studio 2018
I had/still have the same problem, the only work-around I managed to find was to drag each folder to timeline, save as .VSP project, and then open 2018, create new folder and drag all the clips from VSP up into the library.
