Google Maps & Javascript

I see lot's of folks are having the same problem w/ maps and getting a javascript error. I use PSP X6 and just recently started having this problem. I've reinstalled, tried IE vs Chrome to no avail. I found this article on the net that makes me wonder if your tech guys have failed to keep up with changes that Google maps may have made to the javascript.
