New Blue Film Effects
It's strange but New Blue Effects doesn't appear listed in my Video Studio X10 when I click FX within the programme.
Neither is listed in vft folder of the programme. (NewBlueFilm...etc)
Any help?

Re: New Blue Film Effects
Hi
Make sure you have installed the Bonus Features package.
Run the WebInstaller again (VideoStudio_Install.exe) to check if you have installed all packs?

Just seen your last reply
I assume the film effect is a separate purchased filter pack, I do not have that pack.
Maybe others on the forum can advise

Re: New Blue Film Effects
But in C:/Program Files/New Blue, there is a folder called Film Effects for Windows...
It was created when I installed version X10.
With my download of X10 it was included New Blue Paint Effects which works.

Re: New Blue Film Effects
New Blue Film Effects was not included in VSX10, the only difference between VSX10 and VS 2018 is New Blue Titler Pro 5, all other New Blue packages remain the same

Re: New Blue Film Effects
NB Film Effects came as a freebie with VS X9 added to entice people to buy VS some time after its official launch. My records show that I bought it (with X9) on 30 May 2016. It was NOT part of the bundled effects in the X9 package, but a separate offer. IIRC the price at that time for X9 + NB Film Effects was something like US$30. I already had X9 but given that price, I thought it well worth the expense in order to obtain another NB package!
So Alfons, do you have X9 still installed? If so, you will probably find Film Effects lists in the vft_plug folder there. You could copy it into the same folder in X10 and then rename the 20.0 folder in C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64). On restarting X10, it will take a long time to open, but a new 20.0 folder will have been created and Film Effects should now be listed in FX.

Re: New Blue Film Effects
I have never had versions X9. I have X4, X5, X8 and X10. So, unfortunately it's not possible what you suggested.
Thanks Ken!

Re: New Blue Film Effects
Film Effects may also have been associated with one of those other versions you have. The offer could also have been made with one of them. If any of them are still installed, check in their vft folder to see if Film Effects is listed, and copy the files to X10. But you might need to be careful with versions before X7 as they were only 32 bit and the NB 32 bit packages won't work with 64 bit versions of VS.
