get rid of tv rating , logo

is there a way to get rid of , cover up or use a transition to hide the TV rating in the upper left side or the tv logo in the bottom right corner?

You can use an overlay to cover it up. It won't restore what was originally underneath the logo, but you can certainly obscure it and apply filters to the overlay.

If you are willing to use another tools, there are some fairly powerful logo removal filters for VirtualDub and AviSynth. You could use one of them to process the video outside of UVS, and do the real editing after the logo was removed.

what overlay do i use in the dropdown menu of the overlay tabbed area of vs9?

i have virtualdub what filters do i use to remove it?
