Try everything except File Locations and of course don't check the Reset to Default as that will include the file locations.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

Well, I called Corel this morning with this issue and a few other ones. Balls & Bubbles being the biggest one.
They are supposed to email me a fix this afternoon, hopefully. The help supervisor was of no help, so it is now bumped up to tech.
Keeping fingers crossed that they come up with the solution.

Just as a super simple question, what is your exact version number? I seem to remember that command having issues in earlier versions (in the testing?) but i thought it was fixed.

It's 20.2.0.1.

I set up another user, and psp worked fine.
But I don't want to use it from a separate account and not be able to do my other computer stuff.
It may be another program messing it up, as all 4 psp versions I had on my computer were doing the same thing.

I wonder if my user account got corrupted somehow, and whether that's the problem?

Also, it takes almost a full minute to add a file location after I click on "add". The psp poltergeists are working overtime, and I'm not happy.

But after you do the reset and reinstall , just check that the Balls and Bubbles works with the fresh installation before you try and add back your customisation files and any other personal brushes, scripts, etc.

I note that you have a Dell all in one computer as well, I wonder if that has any bearing as the Surface Pros did .
Do you have another system - eg Laptop that you can install on and test to see if your programs work there or have the same problems. If problems persist on whatever system then you may need a fresh installation file.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

@hartpaul I did the first thing after I did a reset and re-install. Didn't work in any of the 4 versions that I had installed.I uninstalled them all, and then reinstalled 2018 and X9 to no avail.

No, I don't have a laptop anymore. We moved 3 yrs ago and it disappeared.

All my psp programs have worked on my Dell since I got it over 3 yrs ago. Never an issue. PSP7 still works on my computer.

@JoeB Yes, Poltergeists. They are more insidious and it is harder to get rid of them. They like to mess with computers and then watch and laugh. At least one can see Gremlins.

It sounds like your computer problem is well beyond the capabilities of mere mortals like Corel Tech Support. I suggest that you call in the big guns.

Lol.
I got balls & bubble to work, but on the way to that I messed up my FF by updating it.

But, adding locations is still a tedious project. I'll take that over b & b not working. I was on a mission to do that.
I uninstalled psp with reg organizer, which also removes traces. Then ran the psp zapper.
So far so good.

Fingers and the pugs' paws crossed.

Hello,
Did you ever run the RegOrganizer in the past (prior to your B&B issues)?

Yes, a lot of times. Great program.
That may explain why you had a problem to begin with.
