MP4 file into project
VSX10.I have a project going which is mainly made up of jpegs and will be rendered to MPEG 2 for a standard DVD.I have the choice of importing a MP4 file that is less than 4MB.Will it be ok to use that and MOV files taken on an iphone?

Re: MP4 file into project
There is no reason why you couldn't use both the mp4 and mov files in a DVD project. I assume you have the Quicktime .mov codec on your computer. But as you know, mov is a wrapper format and can include video of various types. Those phone videos are usually mp4 wrapped in a .mov format anyway.
One thing you might want to look into, though, is whether either the mp4 or the mov files are Upper Field First or Frame Based/Progressive. If they are the latter, then your slideshow project including them could be set to have Project Properties which are also Frame Based mpeg-2. Frame Based is usually the best way of producing a slideshow as it shows each photo in the project as a full frame, instead of interlaced. And you can then, after editing, go to Share > Same As Project Settings, to produce a new DVD-compatible mpeg-2 of your project which you can then use to burn the DVD.
