HI , I am very new to this computer thing so please forgive me if none of this makes sence. I am trying to make a slide show using DVDMF4 however I am getting a few problems.
1: During install the computer just seemed to freeze. I went back to my dektop to find an icon shown but as soon as I click on it im am greeted with a message " A KEY ERROR" however , the program seems to run ok......!!!
2: Making my slideshow was very easy having all the photos and audio I needed . Working through the proceedure all went well even the preveiw was exactly what I wanted and looked great . Then it came to burning...... about 10 minuites in I was met with "ALL OR PART OF THE AUDIO DATA IN THE MPEG FILE IS NOT COMATIBLE WITH THI PROGRAM"
The audio file plays fine in preveiw so why is it not suitable?????
I would really be greatfull for any help (Be gentle with me , very new to this)

various issues with DVDMF4
1. look in this thread for the possible solution to "Key Error"

2. what kind of audio file did you use for your slideshow? there are certain files that can be played back in Moviefactory but becomes incompatible during conversion. Not all audio formats/codecs are supported by MovieFactory when it comes to conversion.
try using WAV files for your slideshow music.
you may also try using the Export Movie (ALT+K) tool on the left edge of the Add/Edit Media window. select your slideshow and click the Export Movie button. Select HQ 4:3 (dolby) then save the file (as .mpg). When the file is finished load the new MPG, remove the original slideshow then burn the project.

YOu cant... MovieFactory slideshow only has a room for 1 audio track.
you can try the following:
1. use an audio editor to join multiple sound files and save it as one.
2. Create your slideshow without audio, use the Export Movie tool to make an MPEG out of it (see Export Movie in the Manual). Remove the slideshow in the project and replace it with the new MPEG you converted. Use the Enhance Video feature and under the Audio tab add your music tracks. You can add upto 10 music tracks (i think...).
