UPDATE READY FOR INSTALLATION

Good Evening..

I constantly get a pop up in the center of my screen informing me that an important update for PSP X8 is ready for installation, and of course, I am given a few options as to when it will be automatically installed.

I do not think for one moment Corel is issuing new updates for a version issued two years ago or so and there is no chance I am going to agree to it. I am wondering if anyone else is getting this pop-up?

Yes I brag about never getting advertising. But in the last few days I've also started to get a popup advertising an upgrade for PSPx8. I went online with PSPx8 open a few days ago to test for opening speed of PSP. Since that time I've begun getting thee adverts. Another reason for never being online while using PSP.

There is a genuine update for PSP X8 and I have installed it successfully as I regarded X8 broken with its terrible Save -> Save As so I didn't have much to lose.

If in doubt you can always go to the Corel site as I did and check up and download from there:

They even offer 15 free scripts , but I found the link broken and not sure if the script link has been repaired.
