Ken Berry wrote:So the bottom line is that if the things you normally produce require you to use 32 bit plug-ins, then you should use the 32 bit version of PSP (unless you get Launchbox). But if speed or the more efficient use of larger amounts of RAM is more important to you, then use the 64 bit and forget about the 32 bit plug-ins.
All excellent points, Ken. With one exception - although it doesn't apply to the specific plugins which the OP was concerned about.

If a 32 bit plugin also has a standalone version, then that standalone version can be invoked within a 64bit version of PSP with a script. So in such a case you don't have to "forget about the 32 bit plug-ins." :-)

Yes also, in that I did state that my post didn't apply to your specific plugins because there are no standalone versions of those plugins. But I posted my reply to make sure that others who have different 32bit plugins that do have standalone versions didn't think that they had to forego using those plugins in 64bit PSP. And Ken's post to which I replied suggested that if you have 32bit plugins you could completely forget about using them in 64bit PSP. I just felt that the exceptions to that statement should be made obvious for those who might also have access to 32bit standalone plugin versions. :-)

To make it complette.

Recently I sow one(can't remember name) x64 bit program that has solved this problems x32/x64 plug-ins problem. Program can load and works with both 32/64 bit plug-ins. :) :) :)

I hope Corel will do the same.
