How to change background color

How to change background color of video. Now it's black.
I mean the main track ?

Of course I can change my photos to the overlay track and put color in main track BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO i don't want to do that because it will make editing of the photos hell because main track behaves completely different alinging the timing vs. overlay tracks.

So black to something else, how ?

There is an option via Settings – preferences (F6) – General Tab to change the background colour
