PSPX8 update 3 - can't install

I have PSPX8 installed, and after seeing the SP3 being released, I downloaded it. As I am trying to install it, it keeps saying that the program is open, but it is not. I even rebooted the computer, and it still says it is open.

Any suggestion what to do or what to check?

The first thing to do is to open Task Manager and see if there is some instance of a PSP or Corel process running. If so, stop the process and then try. If not, then at the moment I don't have any suggestions, other than to completely uninstall X8 using the Cleanup tool in the sticky post near the top of this forum, reboot, reinstall, and add the updates in order. If you do uninstall and if you have customized your workspace then make sure to save your workspace in to have it available to restore once you have completely reinstalled X8.

Of course, I have checked the Task Manager.
I really hate having to remove and reinstall those programs so I was hoping someone had another suggestion.

And let's also hope a better one.

I actually have a copy of PSP X8 32bit installed. When I have a bit of time I might also try installing SP3 and, if I do, I'll post back as to whether or not it works for me. Maybe tomorrow...???

Had no trouble installing PaintShopProX8_SP3.exe . It was 182671 KB. You might check that and perhaps redownload.
