KPT filter panels too tiny

Post by cookie1234 »

I downloaded the KPT filters from the welcome screen to PaintShop Pro 2018. The panels in all the filters are so tiny, they're almost unusable.
I have a brand new computer (hp) and a brand new monitor (Dell). On my old computer and monitor, the KPT workspace took up the
entire screen and the panels were at least large enough to work on. On my new monitor, the entire KPT workspace takes up a little over
half the area of the monitor. Is there any solution for this, because I use these filters a lot!

If your new monitor has a higher resolution setting than your old one then that could be what is causing the issue.

Thanks so much for the tip! As soon as I finish a painting I'm working on, I'm going to check out the various resolutions.

I lowered the resolution; but the KPT filters are the same small size. Also, lowering caused large black side bars on the computer. I'm still baffled
re: upping the size of the KPT filters. Any ideas anyone?

On my monitor (resolution 1280x1024) the KPT filter workspace fills the whole screen. The preview window is the only one that can be resized using the dropdown arrow at its upper right. According to the Help file it says if the KPT workspace is smaller than your screen resolution then click the KPT icon at upper left of the workspace and, from the dropdown, select Black Out Screen. I have no idea what that does because it doesn't do anything to my KPT. But, as I said, mine already fills the monitor.
