Pretty new to Corel Videostudio. I have X10 Pro.
I have a video I need to adjust brightness and contrast just in certain areas. I haven't had much luck finding any Youtube videos to learn this.
Using the DBL Click on the video and set it there applies to whole video, I believe.
I played just a bit with the Color EQ. I"m thinking maybe use of keyframes will help. But I need to understand how to do this better.
Can anyone point me to a good tutorial video?

Try the Auto Level filter.

Using keyframes should work, but can be fiddly to get right. Personally, I would make straight cuts (without transitions) before and after the areas where you want to make the adjustments. Then you can highlight each of those sections, and make the adjustments. With the straight cuts (and no transitions) the playback of the final edited video will not show any interruptions.

Re: Need to adjust brightness/contrast just in certain areas
Thanks guys.
The auto level was good enough for this video.
I had thought about cutting, but figured I would still have obvious changes. But, I'll give it a go when the auto level doesn't work good enough.
I appreciate the help.

Try Cyberlinks "Color Director 6." You can mask the desired areas to your liking. It's not a freebie but, it's a good useful tool.
It does not work in all situations but, in enough. You can try it in the trial version to see if it fits your needs..
