Corel VideoStudio 2018 Freezing

Post by Dolphiness »

I've been using video studio for over 10 years now. So I thought I download a trial of the new version. Most of my videos are 4k and have nothing but trouble with the 2018 version. I've got the smart render turned on, but still every time I use the multi trim it freezes. Any solution for this? I just can't work like that.

Hi
And welcome to the forums

I assume it is a limitation of the trial version that may be giving problems
For CVSX10 the program did not fully support HD video with the project properties limited to Standard Definition.

We do not work for Corel, we run the forums trying to help others.
I think you should contact Corel Support for their opinion on what the trial supports.

Another option would be to purchase the program, test it and if not satisfied ask for a refund, afaik you have 30 days to do that. not ideal.

You could upload a sample to a sharing site and we can run that on our program

Or don’t use Multi Trim but cut the clip on the timelines into sections, delete the unwanted bits.

Thank you Trevor,

I will try the full version. See if that's any better.
